Young Farmers is a voluntary organisation with a membership age range of 10 to 26 years; each club is run entirely by its members. Clubs are open for anyone to join (not just those from a farming background) and are unique in offering members the chance to learn new skills and to compete in competitions as far ranging as drama and dance, debating, art and floristry, stock judging and sports not just at county level but also at national level. 

Wentwood YFC are part of Gwent YFC which is made up of 7 clubs, being, Abergavenny, Bedwas, Crucorney, Raglan, St.Mellons, Usk and ourselves, Wentwood.

Wentwood YFC often support other charities when raising money for the club. We currently have 70+ members and are a very sociable group. 

Wentwood YFC started in 2000 and formed a club from existing members from the Magor and Undy, Llangwm and Lansoy and Chepstow clubs.

We are celebrating our 10th Anniversary from September 2010 to August 2011.

We meet every Wednesday to do an activity, practice for competitions and generally socialize amongst the club and sometimes other clubs. You do not need to become a member straight away, why not come along for a couple of weeks and see if you enjoy it. I'm sure you will love it!!
